Summer Tours Begin!
Eagle Mine's free public tours will begin Thursday, June 15th.
Eagle Mine hosts public tours each summer, alternating between the mine site and the Humboldt Mill. Tours will take place on most Thursdays throughout the summer and require reservations.
The mine tour begins at 9am at the Information Center in downtown Marquette. Participants will meet there to catch the tour bus to the mine site. The tour covers the surface as well as the Water Treatment Plant. Participants will not go underground.
The mill tour begins at 10am and participants will meet at the site. Transportation to and from the mill is not provided. The mill tour is a walking tour, so be prepared to enjoy a stroll around the site and learn a lot! Both tours are a fantastic way to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at our operation.
